  The Word instructs us to be like a tree; plant ourselves by the water and our roots will grow deep. In today's world, the time and place to be silent and listen is rare. St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, WI offers the place. Please make the time.  The Tree of Life Retreat is a seven-acre site in the unique Kettle Moraine area. It is isolated within 21,000 acres of state forest. The private site is bordered by a meandering stream, which flows from the spring-fed pond and nearby marshland. Heavily wooded, rolling hills (kames, eskers, kettles and moraines, unique to the glacial area) give way to two custom structures and green space; Whisper Rock Lodge and Still Water Cabin. Each house is blended into the landscape which allows walking paths on high and low observation points. State recreational trails pass within 50 yards of the Retreat, connecting to a blend of outdoor activities.
